This project involved using Atom to edit text and FileZilla to host the webpage.
I progressed and learned how to write my own CSS code to provide some stylistic elements.
The initial page went through several iterations before becoming a landing page to learn more about the Iditarod website. This site is geared towards older elementary students (3rd-6th grade) and their families. I wanted to create something more user-friendly than the original Iditarod website.
I also embedded multimedia throughout the website.
This embedded Quizlet matching game at the bottom of the page reinforces key concepts found throughout the beginning of the webpage.
The click-through link on this webpage directs viewers to a resource page. Each section is labeled for the intended audience and lifts up experts on the topic.
The top of the page includes responsive page links to create the same stylistic feel as the main webpage.
The bottom of the webpage highlights my knowledge of web design theory and showcases my responsive footer.
